Hi! My name is Mary Sofia Rey, also known as the Lash Fairey, here in Grande Prairie, Alberta. I chose the name ‘Lash Fairey’ as a playful nod to my last name, Rey, combining my passion for beauty with a touch of magic. As the Lash Fairey, I sprinkle a bit of magic on every set of lashes, helping my clients discover their most beautiful selves.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at 15, starting my work journey at that age. I’ve explored over 10 jobs in various industries, including food, retail, hospitality, banking, and education. However, I have never loved anything more than what I do now, and I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to be in the beauty industry, especially the academy where I began my journey.

Currently, I offer lash extension services, with plans to expand my offerings in the future! I became a Certified Lash Artist through Beauty by Claudz Studio & Academy in 2022, and I’m proud to say I’ve advanced to Master Lash Artist and Educator. Choosing to start my journey there was one of the best decisions of my career. Since I was young, I loved doing my friends' hair and helping them feel more confident in their looks. I’ve always had a creative side—whether it’s making videos, art, or new ideas—which plays a big part when I reinvent styles for my lash sets.

I found my passion in the artistry of recreating looks, enhancing eye shapes, and experiencing the joy of delighted clients! The moment they open their eyes and see their lashed look for the first time—realizing how beautiful they can feel with lashes—is the most rewarding feeling. This is a big reason why I love what I do.
