Hi! My name is Mary from Bighani Esthetics! I chose this business name because it reflects a significant part of who I am. "Bighani" is a Tagalog word from the Philippines. Many of my clients return to share that when their friends, family, and even partners see their lashes, they are charmed and stunned, saying they look even more beautiful and that is 'Bighani'. After getting your lashes done by me, people will be "Bighani" by you!

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Canada at 15, starting my work journey at that age. I've explored over 10 jobs in various industries, including food, retail, hospitality, banking, and education. However, I have never loved anything more than what I do now, and I'm grateful every day for the opportunity to be in the beauty industry, especially the academy where I began my journey.

Currently, I offer lash extensions specializing in natural and wispy sets and browser services such as lamination tint, shaping and wax. With plans to expand my offerings in the future! I became a Certified Lash Artist through Beauty by Claudz Studio & Academy in 2022, and I'm proud to say I advanced as their Master Lash Artist and Educator. And completed my brow course through Jbeauty Cove.

Choosing to start my esthetics journey was one of the best decisions of my career. Since I was young, I loved doing my friends' hair and helping them feel more confident in their looks. I've always had a creative side-whether it's making videos, art, or new ideas-which plays a big part when I reinvent styles for my lash sets.

I found my passion in the artistry of recreating looks, enhancing eye shapes, and experiencing the joy of delighted clients! The moment they open their eyes and see their lashed look for the first time-realizing how beautiful they can feel with lashes-is the most rewarding feeling. This is a big reason why I love what I do.
